
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Please note that all photographs are the best possible representation of a product, but due to the nature of the products we offer, variations may occur. Each gemstone is unique and will therefore not be identical to the one in the picture, although we do endeavour to keep them all to roughly the same size. Handmade jewellery items are also all unique and may differ in small ways from the published photo. Where possible we have listed lengths and sizes and have given dimensions.

PAYMENT AND ORDERING INFORMATION
You can pay for online orders via Payfast secure payment gateway. Payfast allows for Secure Credit Card and instant EFT payments and accepts all major credit cards. If you wish to order anything by email, email maureen@rockchic.co.za to arrange for an EFT payment.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY INFORMATION
Once you have placed your order, an email confirms that we are processing it. Unless we inform you otherwise, please allow 3 days for processing of orders. During busy times such as Christmas or Black Friday this period is extended. You will again receive an email with the tracking number once we have dispatched your order. Please allow 3 days for delivery to major centres and up to 5 days for outlying areas. All our orders are delivered to your door by The Courier Guy at a rate of R95 for deliveries within the Cape Town area and R145 for national deliveries. Orders over R 1500 will receive free shipping. There is also the option of local pickup at our shop in Hout Bay.
International shipping rates vary. Kindly contact us for further information.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGE
Customer satisfaction is very important to us. Please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order if there is anything you are not happy with. We will gladly EXCHANGE any unworn jewellery items (excluding earrings) for something else or provide a store credit. Other items such as stones or esoteric tools may be sent back for exchange OR refund, provided they are unused, sellable and in their original packaging. We do not exchange or refund sale or discounted items.
Please return your item to us by courier, at your account, within 7 days of notifying us of your intention to do so. Package the goods securely as we do not take responsibility for any loss or damage during shipping. After we inspected the goods we will contact you by email to arrange a refund or exchange. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
JEWELLERY CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Our gemstone jewellery items are all handmade using good quality materials. Please treat them as delicate items. Please do not shower or swim while wearing any of our handmade items and make sure to store them once you have removed them. Keep your jewellery away from harsh chemicals and abrasive substances. All gemstones have natural fracture lines which can cause them to crack under undue force.
Our Malas are hand knotted on natural silk which stretch slightly with time, but if you follow the care instructions, this is greatly minimised. Do not wear your Mala while sleeping, exercising, or in any situation where it could be snagged. Unless you have bought a special hand Mala, do not wrap it around your wrist. Avoid water, excessive sweat, or harsh chemicals, as this will shorten the life of your mala.
Sterling silver items are easily cleaned by using warm water, dishwashing liquid and a soft toothbrush. We do not recommend that you use any of the commercial dipping fluids available.
REPAIRS
We will gladly repair any handmade jewellery that breaks within 3 months of purchase, provided it is due to manufacturing fault and not due to snagging, yanking or misuse. We require a proof of purchase. After this period we charge a repair fee. Please deliver the item to us at our Hout Bay Shop in person or by courier at your expense. Unfortunately we cannot replace any broken chains as it difficult to prove how breakage occurred. Please check chains carefully upon receipt.
